DESCRIPTION OF THE PERFORMANCE

The story of a Woman and a Man starts at the table during the Sabbath. The couple plays all the characters of Ansky’s drama one after another, scrutinising their partner in this marital relationship. The action of “Dybbuk” moves in time to the present day and takes place between the two protagonists.

So far there has been a video version of the performative reading, created commemorating the 100th anniversary of the author’s death and the work of "Dybbuk" itself. This version is based on the adaptation of the epic two-actor drama created by Bruce Myers.
